Titanic Survivor’s Album

Titanic Survivor’s Album

The passage written dated November 11 1912 in Mrs Goldsmith’s album was one of many expressions of sympathy on the loss of her husband and especially the friendships remembered. The little book was from the Strood Wesleyan Women’s Bible Class and the majority of the names and addresses were from that town dated May 1912. I would like to feel that my presence is felt by you at your side silent but sympathetic and wide as the skies are wide. I would like you to know I am with you that the words I would like to say are hushed in the face of your sorrow and silently die away. Rosa Abbott Survivor of the Titanic.
